The American Red Cross Hawaii State Chapter-East Hawaii announced its training class schedule for September.

Some Red Cross training can be taken in two ways: online blended-learning or full course.

Online blended-learning courses are great for people who take training regularly, and are convenient with shorter training time. They involve partially online learning (approximately one hour) and a classroom session (two hours).

Full courses are traditional training in a classroom, instructor-led with video, book work and hands-on skills (practice on manikins). Class length can run from four to 10 hours.

Classroom sessions will be conducted at the chapter offices, 55 Ululani St. in Hilo.
